If you’re still unsure if I’m the one for you, check out some of my testimonials further down the page.

I've collaborated with a wide variety of businesses. From start-ups to multinationals. Including the likes of Aston Martin, Norwich City FC, Unipart, Air Ambulance, RSPCA, Hansells Solicitors, Route One, The Nest, plus many more.

I bring over 35 years of experience in supporting senior management teams. Together, we've created exceptional company cultures and delivered sustainable business growth.

Okay... but why you?

Stats like these explain why 71% of Fortune 500 companies offer mentoring programmes to their employees.

In 2017, a study reported: "Participants are 40% more likely to achieve their goals if they write them down. This increases to 70% if the goals are shared with someone to keep them accountable, such as a mentor."

Sounds good, I guess. But does it work? I want numbers.

What exactly is 'business consulting'?

There are so many buzzwords out there. Consultant, mentor, coach, advisor... You get the picture. But which one is right for you? What makes them different? What exactly do they even do?

In all honesty, each person will have their own strategy. Here's mine:

Support the construction of the mindset needed to continue to achieve success.

Create a clear and valuable framework to achieve each long-term goal.

Establish a hierarchy of long-term goals using The 8 Pillars of Progression.

What are the 8 Pillars of Progression? This strategy guides you in effectively managing 7 key factors: planning, presentation, product, planet, people, performance, and place. Progressing your business across these pillars establishes a strong foundation, encompassing enhanced employee performance, streamlined operations, sustainable practices, customer-centric strategies, and exceptional service delivery. By following this approach, you'll cultivate the growth of the ultimate pillar - profit.

FAQs

What exactly are the 8 Pillars of Progression?

People

Focusing on people involves getting the most out of your employees by investing in their development, well-being, and work-life balance. By creating a supportive and nurturing environment, businesses can enhance employee engagement, productivity, and loyalty, ultimately leading to improved performance and customer satisfaction. When employees feel valued, they are more likely to deliver exceptional service and contribute to a positive work culture, which can have a direct impact on the bottom line.

Planning

Effective planning is crucial for business success. It involves developing well-thought-out strategies, setting clear objectives, establishing timelines, and implementing efficient processes. A comprehensive plan provides a roadmap and framework for the organisation, ensuring that resources are utilised effectively and goals are achieved. By having a structured plan in place, businesses can minimise inefficiencies, mitigate risks, and capitalise on opportunities, ultimately leading to improved profitability.

Planet

In today's world, sustainability and environmental responsibility are essential components of a successful business. By prioritising sustainable practices, such as reducing emissions, minimising waste, and supporting environmental initiatives, businesses can not only contribute to a healthier planet but also enhance their brand reputation. Consumers are increasingly conscious of the environmental impact of the products and services they use, and businesses that align with their values stand to gain a competitive advantage and potentially attract a larger customer base, positively impacting their profitability.

Product

The product pillar focuses on delivering the right product, at the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity and quality. Businesses that offer high-quality products that meet customer needs and preferences are more likely to build a loyal customer base and drive sales. Additionally, effective product management, including innovation, differentiation, and continuous improvement, can lead to increased market share and competitive advantage, ultimately contributing to higher revenues and profitability.

Place

Place refers to a business's position in the market and its approach to marketing and technology. By understanding the market landscape and leveraging marketing strategies and technology, businesses can reach and engage with their target audience more effectively. This can lead to increased brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales, ultimately driving revenue and profit growth.

Performance

Performance is about establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business goals. By measuring and analysing performance metrics, businesses can identify areas for improvement, optimise operations, and make data-driven decisions.

Presentation

The presentation pillar emphasises delivering exceptional service by focusing on all aspects of the customer experience. By considering the six senses - sight, sound, touch, taste, smell, and intuition - businesses can create memorable and immersive experiences for their customers. This can result in higher customer satisfaction, repeat business, and positive word-of-mouth, ultimately driving increased sales and profitability.

Profit

The profit pillar represents the potential outcomes in a business when it is used as a by-product. The financial results stem from effectively managing the other seven pillars: people, planning, planet, product, place, performance, and presentation. It signifies a business's capacity to generate positive financial results, sustainably maximise revenue, and achieve strong profitability. By integrating and optimising the interconnected elements of the other pillars, such as employee engagement, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and sustainable practices, the profit pillar reflects the culmination of holistic and strategic management. Ultimately, it drives the long-term financial health and success of the organisation.
