Managing Dependencies

Managing dependencies, whether on substances like sugar or other aspects of our lives, requires self-awareness and a proactive approach. In the context of sugar dependency, it's essential to recognise the impact on our health and well-being, and then take steps to manage it. This may involve setting limits on sugar consumption, seeking healthier alternatives, and building a support network to hold oneself accountable. Similarly, in the professional sphere, managing dependencies on factors like technology or external validation demands a strategic mindset. This could entail establishing boundaries, practicing mindfulness, and cultivating self-reliance to maintain productivity and well-being. By acknowledging and addressing dependencies, individuals can strive for a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle, both personally and professionally. It's a journey that requires patience, determination, and a willingness to adapt, but the rewards in terms of improved health and a more sustainable work-life balance are well worth the effort.

I will drop in over the coming months and let you know how I am doing and what methods I am using to manage. I would like to just say that I know this will be a gradual process and not something I can just switch off by one day having sugar and

then the next day not having any at all.
